First time working on a TV series, luckily the budget was higher than usual, and with A-listed crew in Taiwan, also having more time to assist our production designer in developing the concept visual forefront than ever, felt so grateful! Have learned much more than I had expected.

As the leader of the design team, I got to take care little details that fit the story background, which was the 90s. We always debated what kind of elements that were commonly used at the period, did quite a great amount of research, hope to make it realistically old-fashioned, but not out of fashion for today. It was enjoyable to brainstorm with my teammates, applying those details into different scale of objects such as small logos, flyers, jail documents, room for teenager, night club interior,  news broadcast office and its iconic talk show scenes, etc.

Never ever felt so stressed by such extremely tight shooting schedule, there might had 5 scenes on constructing every day, sometimes need to drive all day long to different locations. But always glad to see carpenters and painters, solving problems with them on-site would always be the top 3 delightful things for me.
