▼ GOTHAM COMEDY CLUB__Re-design a set from JOKER
I took paintings of Edward Hopper and other illustration or photography work as my inspiration for color pallet and composition, looked forward to emphasize Author's loneliness and create a peaceful but sad vibe through the design.
Meanwhile I chose an industrial area for bigger scale of building and street, make people look even smaller than normal. Also, factories were always been put at the edge of the city, just like Author, who was an outsider of the society.
Since the factories had been unused for a decade, some comedy nerds might occupied one of them, and made it become the secret comedy club.

▼ QI__Re-design the set of the classic show
It was a quick design exercise with simple concept. When people taking shower, thoughts would always pop out accidentally, so I found it might be a good idea to let them sit in a huge tub, as they were chatting in the bathroom.
To balance this funny concept, I decided to keep it in a mature visual style and with darker color pallet. The table would use some sparkle and tranparent-ish material, to represent the water and create wavy reflection on other surfaces when light went through.
